Slavonija is a Croatian region that is bordered by three major rivers. In the middle of it, there is a ring of mountains where Papuk UNESCO Global Geopark is located.

Slavonijan people cherish their tradition here, especially gastronomy. You can visit the oldest continuously inhabited town in Europe or the remains of prehistoric Pannonian Sea.

The Slavonija area has highly fertile soil and the old Romans called it the Golden Valley. Moreover, two Roman emperors were born in here. The oldest prehistoric Julian Calendar was created in here. Natural beauty, rich tradition, traditional gastronomy – you name it, Slavonija has it all.

And, after an active day spent in nature, you will be offered with regional specialities, fine wines and the sound of tamburitza (a stringed instrument native to Croatia).
